Easyfundraising - you can help boost LCAA funds!

We've recently joined Easyfundraising, which is another great way to add to our funds every time you shop with your favourite online retailers.

If you sign up using this link, each time you shop at one of their associated retailers, we get a small donation. It's easy to do and doesn't cost you anything.

Like the Derby Community Lottery, it's a great way to boost our everyday funds. The contributions are quite small, but the more people we have, the more contributions, and they can add up to a useful amount in time.

Rent Days: 31st October and 1st November 2026

Our Rent Days this year on Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November. The Community Room will be open from 10am to 2pm both days for you to come and pay your rent for 2027. Please note that we only accept cash or card payments only. No cheques.

Bonfires on the allotment

Bonfires were the subject of 'hot' debate at our recent AGM. After some discussion, it was agreed that we would continue to allow bonfires between the approved dates (1st November to the end of February). Fires should be contained in an incinerator bin or similar, not 'open'. Generally fires on allotments are not considered a 'good thing' and eventually the City Council are likely to imposed their own ban in the future. Read this guidance from the NAS on the subject.

LCAA Site Rules

At the Rent Days, you will be asked to sign an acknowledgement that you have received and are familiar with our Site Rules. Copies will be available. You can read a summary of them here.
